INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORAL AND POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The preliminary program of 16^th International Corrosion Congress is available now on the website of the conference: www.16icc2005.com. Comments and modifications are accepted before August 15th, 2005.

For oral presentations, the speakers will have 20 minutes, including 5 minutes of discussion. They are expected to use a computer projection (e.g. PowerPoint ). In order to ensure a smooth transition between lectures, the speaker s are required to transfer their presentation file to the computer in their corresponding room in advance. So, p lease bring an electronic copy of your presentation to the conference. We can accept a CD-ROM or flash memory (USB Key) to transfer the file. If necessary, an overhead projector will be available for transparencies. In this case, please contact the organizing committee the day before your presentation.

- The plenary lecturers will have 50 minutes without discussion,

- The keynote lecturers will have 40 minutes including discussion.

- The invited lectures will have 30 minutes including discussion.

For poster presentations, the maximum size is 1.20m x 0.90m, "portrait" format. When arriving at the conference, authors of poster will have to install their posters (double-sided adhesive tape available at the registration desk). Please remember that there are 2 poster sessions (on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd September 2005, from 13:00 to 18:00).

Note:

Ø At present, comments and modifications for this program will be accepted, except that the date of each session in this program is fixed.

Ø USD $100 must be paid before July 31^st, 2005, if you expect your full paper collected in the Abstract Proceeding or CD-ROM of Full Paper. And this payment will be deducted from your registration fee.
